Data & privacy
Short, and without the legal padding. Last updated 16 September 2026.
What we collect about you
Nothing that could identify you. There are no user accounts, we don’t store your IP address, and we don’t use cookies or anything like them on your device.
That’s why there’s no cookie banner here — there is nothing to agree to.
Visits
We use Umami, which we run on our own server. It counts visits from a fingerprint that changes daily and cannot be traced back to a person. So we see how many people came and which pages they looked at — not who you are.
Location
If you let the map use your location, it is used only to show you what is around you. It is never sent to the server and never stored.
Where the venues and events come from
- Venues — OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence) and Overture Maps Foundation.
- Events — publicly available listings. Every event links back to where it came from; we are not trying to replace the source.
- Base map — CARTO over OpenStreetMap data.
If you run a venue or organize events and something here is wrong, or you would rather it wasn’t here at all, write to us and we’ll fix it.
Errors
When something breaks in the app, a technical description of it (what failed and where) is recorded on our own server so we can fix it. It contains no personal data.
